RoleplaySales pitch practice

Practice your sales pitch

Pitch to a buyer who reacts honestly, learn which lines earn attention, and close for a concrete next step.

Your mic turns on when you start.

What you'll practice

A short meeting with a busy prospect who agreed to hear you out. They react in real time: questions when something is interesting, impatience when it drifts into features.

  • Open with the buyer's problem, not your company history
  • Ask at least one discovery question before the details
  • Ask for a specific next step

What Co-Star evaluates

  • Relevance to the buyer's problem
  • Balance of talking and asking
  • Clarity of the close

Review focus: Quote where the buyer lost interest or leaned in and why, check that discovery came before features, and judge whether the close asked for a real next step.

Who Co-Star plays

A busy, fair-minded buyer with a real problem and ten minutes. Asks questions when intrigued, says so when bored, and agrees to a next step only if the pitch connects to their problem.

How it starts

The buyer thanks you for your time, says they have about ten minutes and asks what you've got. If you haven't said what you sell, they ask.

What you'll leave with

  • An opening that earns the next two minutes
  • A close with a date instead of "let me know"

Questions about this practice

Do I need to tell Co-Star what I sell?

Yes, briefly, either before you start or in your first lines. The buyer reacts to your actual product and pitch.

How is this different from objection handling practice?

This route practices the pitch itself and the buyer's live reactions. Objection handling starts after the pitch with a specific objection.
